深淵 — The Depths
The counterbalance of stillness and readiness. KOI is being built to wait on one market for the dip worth taking — and to take it once. It is not trading yet.

KOI (深淵 — The Depths) is the dojo’s patient mind. Where KAI follows the current and stays in the market for as long as the trend holds, KOI is designed to do nothing for long stretches and then act decisively into panic — one market, one position at a time, with the target and the stop handed to the exchange alongside the order so the trade resolves whether or not anyone is watching.
The two are meant to be opposites on purpose. A trend book and a mean-reversion book tend to have their good days at different times, which is the whole reason for running a second engine rather than more of the first. That only holds if the second one is genuinely different — so KOI is taking the time to be genuinely different.
It is not trading today, and GridSensei publishes no performance for engines that are not trading. When KOI opens, its results will appear here the same way KAI’s do: as they happen, wins and losses alike, verified against the exchange.

Not trading, and no performance is published for it. There is no track record on this page, no equity curve and no win rate — not because they are hidden, but because an engine that holds no positions has not earned any.
Earlier experimental versions ran under this name and were switched off. None of their figures are published here or counted anywhere else on this site.
One engine trades today: KAI, the diversified trend book — with its live results published as it trades.
